We occasionally produce Crown and Cross Pinot Noir as an addition to our standard range. In the case of the 2016 Carrick Crown and Cross we were able to access some fruit from a property in Alexandra, producing the wine in our own Bannockburn Winery.
The wine was matured for around 9 months in French oak, of which about 25% was new wood. Alexandra as a wine region is much cooler than Bannockburn and therefore tends to be more in the red fruit spectrum of Pinot Noir. It’s something different for us, but also hopefully, something interesting for you too.Normally - $71 (+shipping)
