Carrick Vineyards, Bannockburn, Central Otago
What better wine to enjoy then one which feels like drinking summer! Our Rosé, draws inspiration from the Provence Rosés of the South of France, pale salmon in colour, with a fine and refreshing acidity.
Best when chilled, it is a perfect lunchtime wine or as an appetizer with nibbles.
Bright, fresh and elegant, the delightfully expressed bouquet shows raspberry, cranberry, nectarine and lemon zest aromas, followed by a juicy palate that’s vibrant and crisp. It’s immediately appealing with lovely fruit purity and finely textured mouthfeel. At its best: now to2021. - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
The Carrick Rosé is crafted from hand-picked Organic Pinot Noir grapes, from our lower terrace of our vineyards. The fruit is gently pressed, then the juice ferments using a wild yeast and ages in barrel for a couple of months before bottling.
It is dry in style, with hints of fresh strawberry and red cherries.
