Vibrant fruit with fragrant aromatics are the hallmarks of this wine. The vintage was slightly lighter than the 2014 with red fruits to the fore. The wine shows texture and a lingering finish.

An intense nose showing floral aromatics, black cherries, plum and a touch of spice from the barrels providing a beautifully integrated wine. The front palate is layered with dark fruits, oriental spice and complex savoury flavours which support the fine grained tannins. The intensity of the front palate cascades into a lingering seamless finish.
This is an intensely rich wine that will cellar until at least 2025.

Named for a gold dredge, The Magnetic is a single vineyard Pinot Noir produced from the Abel clone.

Gold dredges plied the river immediately below the land on which Carrick is now planted. Our gold dredge series celebrates the gold workings around Bannockburn with small parcel wines available only directly from the winery.

Carrick Unravelled is our early drinking offering for Pinot Noir lovers. it's essentially a declassification of wine from the Carrick vineyards, so has all the care and attention of the other Pinots, but bottled earlier with less new oak.
